Edgecombe Early College is an innovative, collaborative program between Edgecombe Community College and Edgecombe County Public Schools. Housed on the community college’s Tarboro campus, the program enables students to earn a high school diploma and a community college Associate’s Degree or two years of college credit in five years.
The program serves students in grades 9-13. Keys to its success are small class size and personal attention. Edgecombe Early College is designed to provide students with a more rigorous curriculum and/or for 1st generation college goers.
